Your character isn't defined by what you show me or how you speak to me in fleeting moments. It's not about the temporary impressions or the words you choose; rather, it's about how you truly listen and understand, especially when I'm hurt and you feel you haven't caused harm.
I believe character is revealed in how you respond in those moments. Do you listen with empathy, or do you criticize and shift the blame onto me? Your consistent actions in these situations will tell me more about who you truly are.
