ChatGPT時代に、教師を選ぶということ
スキルは大切です。
学ぶことも、とても大切です。
しかし今の時代、
インターネットや
ChatGPTのようなツールによって、
誰もが簡単に
情報へアクセスできるようになりました。
知識を集めることも、
それを発信して
「先生」や
「専門家」として活動することも、
以前よりずっと容易になっています。
けれど、
知識があることと、
良い教師であることは同じではありません。
私が誰かから学ぶときに
大切にしているのは、
その人が
「何を知っているか」
だけではなく、
「どんな人であるか」です。
人格。
醸し出すエネルギー。
そして誠実さ。
本当の教師とは、
教えを言葉で伝えるだけではありません。
その教えを自らの生き方で体現し、
日々の行動を通して示している人だと思います。
価値観や智慧、
自己成長について語ることは難しくありません。
けれど、それを一貫して生き続けることは、
決して簡単ではありません。
大切なのは、
その人が「語れるか」ではなく、
実際にその教えを生きているかどうかです。
だからこそ、
学ぶ側である私たちも
「見極める力」
を養う必要があります。
肩書きや印象的な言葉だけに
目を向けるのではなく、
その人がどのように生きているのか。
人とどう接しているのか。
困難にどう向き合っているのか。
そして、教えていることを
日常の中で実践しているのか。
そうした姿にこそ、
本当の価値は表れます。
知識は借りることができます。
けれど、
智慧は生きることでしか
身につきません。
だからこそ、
誰から学ぶのかを、
どうか大切に選んでください。

As students and seekers, we must exercise discernment. Observe carefully. Look beyond impressive words and credentials. Pay attention to how a person lives, treats others, handles challenges, and applies their teachings in daily life.
Knowledge can be borrowed. Wisdom must be lived.
